Joe Billington to receive Harrogate District Sports Council award on behalf of Pannal Sports

In recognition of his 41 year association with the club and the clubs contribution to sport in the Harrogate area, Joe Billington, Pannal Sports JFC club secretary will collect the Harrogate District Sports Council Award. Details of the award evening and Joe's invitation from the league secretary below. Congratulations to Joe and all who have contributed to Pannal Sports since 1966.

Dear Joe,

I am so pleased to confirm that you have been invited to receive, on behalf of Pannal Sports Junior afc, the Community Service to Sport Award to be presented by the Harrogate District Sports Council at its annual dinner and presentation of awards evening.

The Dinner will be held at the Cairn Hotel on Thursday 29th November at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Dress is lounge suits / blazers / day dresses. As an awardee the Club will receive one free ticket to the dinner. Additional tickets will be at 21.50 per person (16 for Under 16s and 8.50 for under Under 12s). Everybody is welcome to come along and we look forward to Members of the Club, young players and parents / friends joining us at the dinner.

The evening is informal and relaxed and has always been friendly, relaxed and enjoyed by those attending. The attendance of young people always enhances the evening and makes it most pleasant for everybody.

The Mayor of Harrogate is attending and will present the award to your Club - you might wish to make a short acknowledgement. Other awards will be presented to the Team of the Year; Junior Team; Primary School Award; Young Achiever; Disabled Performer and Service to Sport.
